During my time at University College of North Wales, Bangor, I was very much involved as a volunteer at the National Trust's Industrial Railway Museum, Penrhyn Castle, working with that marvellous character, the late Iorwerth Watkin Jones MBE. This is our story of those years, 1966-77, prefaced by Iorwerth's own account of earlier times at the museum, 1960-1965, which he presented at his retirement "do" in November 2005..............
